The Tulip Trestle

For today’s Community Saturday, I want to highlight the Tulip Trestle, more commonly known to locals as the Viaduct.

This railroad trestle is 2307 feet long and 157 feet tall and one of the longest of this type of bridge still in use today. The trestle was built in 1906.

There is a beautiful observation deck available to view the bridge from, and if you are lucky, you will get to see a train cross!

Reminder, the trestle and surrounding land are private property so please only enjoy the trestle from the observation deck.
